This is the third version of the popular DIY SmartBlinds project. This version is designed for the NEMA 17 Stepper motor which is about 20x more powerful than the 28BYJ-48 stepper used in v1.

Description

This is the third version of the popular DIY SmartBlinds project. This version is designed for the NEMA 17 Stepper motor which is about 20x more powerful than the stepper used in v1. The mounting holes are the same in all versions so that you can reuse your mounting bracket or screws in your wall. The main changes include:

  • Redesigned rectangular body to fit the NEMA 17 motor
  • Faster printing design
  • Easier assembly

This package includes:

  • Top Lid
  • Bottom Lid with electronics mounting brackets
  • Bottom Lid without mounting options – this is for BYO Mounting
  • Main Body max motor depth 40mm
  • 3 other Main Body’s with left, right and rear mounting holes for various mounting options
  • Cog for 5mm pull string beads – may not be a perfect fit for your beads
  • Cog for 4mm pull string beads – may not be a perfect fit for your beads

The body height is 96mm, width 49mm and depth 73mm.
